Is your town ready for a Beaut Weekend?
Beaut Blokes are looking for small declining communities out there with a number of single men who would like to hold a Beaut Blokes weekend in their town.
Beaut Blokes has been so successful in the Harrow area that the Beaut Blokes are on the endangered species list. Beaut Blokes is all about introducing (and sometimes reintroducing ex-country girls) single women from the cities, to life in the country. Many country girls head for the big smoke to complete their education or to gain qualifications often never to return, leaving young men to work on the family farm or to work in the many trades and services that support the rural/farming sector.
Beaut Blokes is a program of events designed to give people a stress free opportunity to make new friends and to give city girls a taste of country life in a genuine fun way.

Holding a Beaut Bloke weekend in your community tackles the problems of isolation, declining population; drink driving, farm succession, men’s mental health, lack of skilled people in the community, school shrinkage and the town’s general economy not growing. It helps with all of this and is a fabulous fun weekend for the whole community to be involved in.
Beaut Blokes in conjunction with Beyond Blue are currently developing a “how to” manual, sharing the secrets that have made the Harrow Beaut Blokes weekends so successful so that any Australian communities can run their own Beaut Blokes Weekend. Whilst a Beaut Blokes event is about having fun, it is also about having a happy, healthy and strong communities.
