There are many other people out there like you looking for opportunities to meet people so I thought a Beaut Blokes with a few km’s on the clock seemed like a perfect opportunity for you and others out there in similar situations to meet. Harrow is a small rural community in South west Victoria - (I have put a map on the Upcoming Events page to help you out). In terms of getting to Harrow if you caught a plane to Melbourne we will be able to organise some car pooling arrangements with others coming from Melbourne. That way also you will be able to meet some of the other ladies coming before you arrive. Ange and I hope that you can make it you really will have a great time and meet heaps of fantastic people.

My daughter Beck is a true country girl and spends almost every week end up on the Atherton tablelands (We have a small block there) attending rodeos and wnything else country that is happening. beck has all the RM gear and is 21 turning 22 Nov this year. Sharon is 25. Any way, they would love to attend one of these week ends but would need plenty of notice and some help getting from Melbourne to the event. Beck is in child care and completing her diploma. Absolutely loves animals and the land. Both girld volunteer with the SES and spent week ends for months helping the victims of Cyclone Larry. I was one of the girls from the Farmer Wants a Wife show that aired recently on Channel 9. I only wish that the Beaut Blokes scheme was operating in NSW - it would have saved a lot of embarrassment on national TV and stress! The farmer who I met is a lovely genuine guy, but we just didn’t click romantically at all. But staying on his farm was great, we all three got along well as mates. And he has now found the girl of his dreams so it all worked out well. The three of us have stayed in touch as friends.
It is really difficult to find a guy in Sydney who enjoys my passion for the country, horses, and wants to live on the land - hence why I stuck my neck out and did the show!

It was the best weekend that i’d had in a long time, and the best thing to come out of it was that i found the love of my live there. she came up from melbourne with a friend, we hit it off straight away. 5 months later her and her daughter moved up to logan (central vic) with me. If u have a chance to get to a bb weekend, GO FOR IT. I still keep in touch with some of the other people that went that weekend, one of them as my “buddy” for the weekend. We are seeing her for her birthday this weekend. She is a great chick. The Beaut Blokes organisation is the best thing for singles in the country who aren’t interested in a weekend fling at a B&S, this is a more classier and low key afair where you actually get to talk to people and get to them and let them get to know you on a more intimate basis.

I have just sent off my registration forms and can’t wait for the weekend to roll around. A friend of mine went to the last Harrow beautblokes km’s on the clock and had an absolute blast, July can’t get here soon enough for this little black duck..

Hi all,
Am single in Sydney and almost fed up with Sydney guys.. My girlfriend and I have heard that country blokes are just lovely, and we would really love an opportunity to meet with some to see if the rumours are true.. We live in Sydney Metro area - but would be really happy to travel for a social weekend - but perhaps the Beaut Blokes is more for people already located in the rural area?
Would love to know more about it anyways… To give a short bio - we are both in our mid-thirties, happy, outgoing and would really enjoy the chance to come along and check it all out.

Do’nt be affraid to come south, I went to what was the last one. Had a ball. A friend has told me not to go alone this year so we are having it as a weekend away instead.
Damien I would have thought Ararat to be further away from Harrow than 100km’s. Unless your taking the back way. Am looking forward to make new friends. Your also brave to put your phone number up.

Thanks for getting in touch. You were great this morning on the show. There are many other people out there like you looking for opportunities to meet people so I thought a Beaut Blokes with a few km’s on the clock seemed like a perfect opportunity for you and others out there in similar situations to meet.
Harrow is a small rural community in South west Victoria - (I have put a map on the Upcoming Events page to help you out). In terms of getting to Harrow if you caught a plane to Melbourne we will be able to organise some car pooling arrangements with others coming from Melbourne. That way also you will be able to meet some of the other ladies coming before you arrive.
Ange and I hope that you can make it you really will have a great time and meet heaps of fantastic people.

Hi,
I hail from way up far north queensland “Cairns:> my daughter Rebecca and her friend Sharon were very keen on attending the beaut blokes week end earlier in the year and didn’t realise that they are run more often than once a year. My daughter Beck is a true country girl and spends almost every week end up on the Atherton tablelands (We have a small block there) attending rodeos and wnything else country that is happening. beck has all the RM gear and is 21 turning 22 Nov this year. Sharon is 25. Any way, they would love to attend one of these week ends but would need plenty of notice and some help getting from Melbourne to the event. Beck is in child care and completing her diploma. Absolutely loves animals and the land. Both girld volunteer with the SES and spent week ends for months helping the victims of Cyclone Larry. I know I am biased but both girls are georgeous. Can someone let Beck know what is happening next.

What a fantastic weeknd I had at Beaut Blokes with a few k’s on 28th & 29th July. A warm and wonderful experience for a City Girl like me. I LOVED the shearing, golf, horses …… everything. I don’t think you could put a nicer bunch of people together anywhere. I enjoyed meeting each and every person on the weekend. Ange & Sara thanx for a great week-end. It was so nice to get with people around your own age group & all have the same thing in common. I dont think there was any-one who felt uncomfortable about being there & that didnt enjoy themselves. Thanx Craig & Laurie for the golf game, it was so much fun but you really need to leave the trees & birds alone & stop grazing your sheep off Sue`s & my divets! A big hi to poppy, angry or (curly), & john the barman on sunday (thanx for the little talk you & poppy had with me before I left, I did listen & took note of what you said) Great scenic country-side & we would like to book connie school for the next beaut blokes. Great accomodation, might even come up camping one week-end. To all the locals thanx for being such great people. Hope to see you all soon.

I and a few friends from Melbourne were planning on going to the last B.B. weekend but due to prior commitments were unable to attend. I suppose I am wondering when and where the next one is? The other question is what age group will it be 30’s and 40’s would include all my friends and I.

What can I say but I had a fantastic weekend at Harrow. And am grateful to make new freinds once again, even if I have moved to the west. You both deserve a huge thank-you love Harrow town and when back in Vic will take a visit through Harrow again. I have to tell you i am a little dissapointed!!!, After a recent chat with my “beaut”iful cousin (who is a harrow local) I expressed how i was dissapointed when checking out the site and seeing he wasn’t the poster boy for the beaut blokes.
He did infact promise me that he was going to “strike a pose” for ange and get her to pop it up for me to well, ummm ..have a laugh …and well, i’m still waiting. Seems someone has chickened out!!!
So ange ask around to find out who your next poster boy is, if i was to tell you who he was he’d probably kill me …wouldn’t you c*#^g??? oops haha.
I am still on the look out for a trade-in darl, so keep that eye out for me. lol.

I was one of the girls from the Farmer Wants a Wife show that aired recently on Channel 9.
I only wish that the Beaut Blokes scheme was operating in NSW - it would have saved a lot of embarrassment on national TV and stress!
The farmer who I met is a lovely genuine guy, but we just didn’t click romantically at all. But staying on his farm was great, we all three got along well as mates. And he has now found the girl of his dreams so it all worked out well. The three of us have stayed in touch as friends.
It is really difficult to find a guy in Sydney who enjoys my passion for the country, horses, and wants to live on the land - hence why I stuck my neck out and did the show!
I would definitely like to be involved in the first event that you hold in NSW!
Good on you to the ladies who started Beaut Blokes, such a generous selfless thing to do.
There’s just got to be a nice normal guy 35-45 years who enjoys the country life and wants to share his life with me!

I’m single in my 40’s and living south of Sydney, where every girl knows theres a man drought! I think its a great idea to get everyone together en masse. Its pretty depressing when people keep asking “why is an attractive girl like you single?” “Why, indeed”. The worse that can happen is that you can widen your circle of friends. It would be great to go to something in NSW is there anything being planned? There must be some rural single men who’d like to meet some quality, eligible single women. Heres hoping. May all our dreams come true in 2008!

Hi all, this is a fantastic initiative and the founders should be very proud of themselves. My question is a little off the track but thought someone here could help. Are farmers interested in selling directly to the public? Maybe you have a dairy farm and make some products that could be sold to the public. Or an alpaca farm and you also make clothing etc from the wool. That kind of thing. Something that also may assist in extra income during drought. Appreciate any input. Thanks.

Hooray, some action at last. I have been very unlucky and haven’t been to any beaut blokes weekends yet, i was too young for the last Harrow one but i’m looking forward to Dimboola in October. I’ll be there for sure. Can’t wait.

Hi all, i went to the bb in Dimboola late march last year. It was the best weekend that i’d had in a long time, and the best thing to come out of it was that i found the love of my live there. she came up from melbourne with a friend, we hit it off straight away. 5 months later her and her daughter moved up to logan (central vic) with me. If u have a chance to get to a bb weekend, GO FOR IT. I still keep in touch with some of the other people that went that weekend, one of them as my “buddy” for the weekend. We are seeing her for her birthday this weekend. She is a great chick.
The Beaut Blokes organisation is the best thing for singles in the country who aren’t interested in a weekend fling at a B&S, this is a more classier and low key afair where you actually get to talk to people and get to them and let them get to know you on a more intimate basis.
If you want something different in your life and something to tell you grand children this is definately something i would recommend.
